3d International Multidisciplinary Geosciences Conference IMGC2021
International Multidisciplinary Geosciences Conference IMGC2021 was held today in the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica. The participants in this activity in remarks were: Gani Maliqi, Sabri Avdullahu Chair of the conference, Naser Peci, Dean of Geosciences Faculty, Alush Musaj, Rector of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica, the ICMM Director Ramiz Krasniqi, and other representatives.
The Director of the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals, Ramiz Krasniqi, in the remark of the 3d International Multidisciplinary Geosciences Conference IMGC2021, informed about the ICMM’s activity: Administration of all permits and licenses, utilization and processing of mineral resources in the whole territory of Kosovo, and offering the equal opportunities for all people, etc. The purpose of this conference according to the ICMM Director, Ramiz Krasniqi, is to increase cooperation and its institutional and professional contribution, to offer good opportunities for Geosciences papers, and importance to increase this very important sector for economic development of Kosovo.
The ICMM is being presented by three scientific papers this year in this conference that are treating the mining legislation in the Republic of Kosovo, the role of informatics system in this sector and mining economy – case of the Republic of Kosovo.
The officials of the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals that presented their papers are: the ICMM Director Mr. Ramiz Krasniqi with topic: “Regulatory framework of the mining sector in the Republic of Kosovo”.
Sami Duraku with topic: “Role of information in the mining sector of Kosovo”.
Gazmend Morina with topic:” Mining economy- case of the Republic of Kosovo”
This conference according to the ICMM Director, Ramiz Krasniqi, will help to present the factual state, development and increase of productivity in this sector of special importance for our country.
Most of participants of the countries of the region in conference presented the papers online due to COVID-19. Conference was attended by around 50 participants.
International Multidisciplinary Geosciences Conference IMGC2021 is organised by the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, the Ministry of Economy and the Independent Commission for Mines and Minerals.
