The ICMM delegation comprising of: Musa Shabani – Chairman of the Board, Kemajl Zeqiri – Member of the Board, Avdi Konjuhi – Member of the Board, and Ramiz Krasniqi – the ICMM Director within the field visits and visits in mining enterprises according to the plan of the ICMM Board, visit the enterprises in the Gjilan region: Guri”l.l.c.,“Abi” l.l.c., “Pro Eng” l.l.c.,“Kofix” l.l.c and “Belushi” l.l.c on 31.10.2017.
The ICMM delegation had short meetings with the representatives of mining enterprises where it is discussed on the progress of works, challenges on production, relations with communities and reports with employees.
From the visual monitoring of this mining enterprises, the Board has noticed that the enterprises are implementing in general the projects, on structures and mining security, however it is noticed that there is a lack of signs such us logos of enterprises, mining marking, marking of licenses borders, but it is seen in general the dynamics and technical regularity of production.
Concerning the employees, the enterprise “Guri” l.l.c among other has confirmed as employed as well three employees from Serbs community, and it is emphasised several contributions in community, but without giving details.
The Board required from the enterprises that now and in the future to submit in the ICMM a copy of evidences on contribution in community, because the Board is interested to make an evaluation of the investments of mining enterprises in community, such thing was welcomed by the representatives of enterprises.
