Meeting of the ICMM with the representatives of UMIB and consultant Mario E. Rossi
The ICMM’s officials, Director Mr. Ramiz Krasniqi, Head of Legal Department Mrs Selvete Grajqevci–Pllana, and Manager of GIS database Mrs. Besa Zeqiri, have hosted the representatives of Mitrovica University “Isa Boletini” (UMIB) and consultant Mario E. Rossi from “Fullbright specialist” for research programs in the field of mining sector, on 12 November 2021 in the ICMM meeting room.
The consultant Mario E. Rossi is staying in UMIB within the ”Fullbright specialist” program who is supporting the Faculty of Geosciences to update programs and drafting the research programs, which it has a comprehensive dimension of mining sector.
On this occasion, the consultant accompanied by Mr. Naser Peci – the Dean in UMIB and Mr. Kemajl Zeqiri – Head of Mining Department in UMIB, have visited as well the ICMM on 12 November 2021.
The purposes of his visit among other things were:
The consultant has been notified in details by the ICMM Director for the manner of functioning, achievements and challenges of the ICMM, and for any of his interests about the number of licensed enterprises, forms of applications, the possibility to invest in mining sector in the Republic of Kosovo, mining legislation and cooperation of our institution with other mining institutions of the Republic of Kosovo etc.
