The Board and Director of the ICMM met with Professors of the Faculty of Geosciences Dr. Sc. Naser Peci, Dr. Sc. Sabri Avdullahi and Dr. Sc. Behxhet Shala.
The purpose of the meeting was consultation on the organization of an International Conference in Mitrovica which will be held during October 2019. The Chairman of the Board Mr Musa Shabani promised the support of the ICMM in the organization. Among other things, it was discussed about the establishment of an Organizing Council, which will bear the responsibility to organize this Conference. Foreign lecturers (from other countries) will be invited as well to the Conference. The proposal of the Chairman of the Board Mr Musa Shabani was to invite also foreign businesses who have expressed their desire to participate in such Conferences. The deadline to submit scientific papers will be until the end of June.
Both sides agreed in the end to continue cooperation for the maintenance of this important Conference for the mining sector.
